Susan J. e-mailed, she has been talking to John at Speedyquick, 344-3837, either #1 in sales or #3 Customer Service. Anyway apparently the rates are the same as when we got Speedyquick in Ola, $39.97 and $49.97 per month, but the speed has drastically been increased on the $49.97 plan. This is great for movies, Netflix or games. If you would like this upgrade call John at Speedyquick.

The Ola Fireman's 7th Annual Pancake Supper was well attended. It's nice to see that the community is so supportive of our volunteer fire department. The pancake supper was delicious and Bob L. is a terrific flipper. Thank you Bob and OLC for a wonderful meal. We were also treated to guest speaker Janie Schaut. She talked about her project of researching hundreds of veteran's obituaries and interviewing veterans to tell their stories and then documenting the information in books. She is committed to preserving the heritage of veterans from Gem County. A very interesting speech and a remarkable lady to take on such a valuable project. Thank you Janie!
